Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center
The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center tells the fascinating story of the largest land run in American history - the 1893 Land Run & settlement of northwest Oklahoma. After a huge rennovation in 2011, the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center is now open! The new Heritage Center includes a Special Exhibits Gallery for traveling & temporary exhibits, a reading & research room, gift shop, plaza, the Phillips University columns & “The Homesteaders” monument by H.
